This role of Breath Bearer is reserved for individuals of Indigenous bloodlines, verified through ancestry. Breath bearers serve as guiding voices in cultural reclamation and community leadership. Being a Breath Bearer is not just a title but a commitment to bring life to the vision of unity, healing, and balance for future generations. We call forth those who feel the quiet yet powerful call of ancestral memory—the voices of the land, the rivers, and the winds. The Nacasa Nation stands as a sacred home for those whose blood flows from the Indigenous tribes of the Americas yet who find themselves without a tribal affiliation.
